Jasmine and Simon's Garden Wedding
Designing Jasmine's wedding was a florists' dream.
True to her name, Jasmine loves greenery and we tried to incorporate this in every aspect .
Jasmine and Simon were married at the iconic Langham Hotel in Pasadena. This luxury venue perfectly showcases the grace of SoCal, but it was up to Team Lark to give it that glammed up, garden party vibe.
To honor Jasmine's favorite color, we placed two blue hydrangea bouquets upon her entrance to the ceremony, to also match with the bridesmaids dresses .
Jasmine wore a gorgeous and detailed Issey Miyake dress.
We kept the decor for the ceremony minimal and sleek so that our gorgeous Chuppah would really shine through. The canopy was my favorite thing to create for this wedding, it's a flower bomb! We didn't want to overdo the blue theme, so we kept the blue subtle to the base, and added shades of purples and pink hydrangeas and roses for a feminine touch . We tied this floral explosion all together with whites and greens and loads of jasmine leaves !!
Jasmine was such a great bride to work with, and it really excited me to celebrate her in this way .
The reception took place in the historic Huntington ballroom , with its massive space and grand chandeliers to cater to the over 500 guests in attendance . It was a gratifying challenge to integrate a rustic flora feel with this understated vintage venue .
Of course we used tons of jasmine leaves on the foliage featured indoors. We kept to white florals to make the guests really feel like they were in a lush green garden!
Team Lark created the most gorgeous bridges for the centerpieces which added so much to the garden ambiance. With candles at each table, you could close your eyes and be transported into a forest - an elegant one , with gold accents ;)
This wedding was one of the earlier Lark events. Team Lark pulled a memorable all nighter to set up this event . At the end of the night , we couldn’t have been more tired , yet so utterly satisfied with the beauty that we collaborated to arrange. We loved working alongside Debbie with Amabella Events. We are a great team and love collaborating together, her organizational skills and our artwork make for a truly magnificent affair.
We wanted Jasmine and Simon’s love to shine through the garden we created , and it did .
The night culminated in a surprise flash mob coordinated by Jasmine and Simon’s friends . Getting to experience the joy and ecstasy of the guests as they danced for the happy couple with our Lark designed florals surrounding them was a surreal thrill like no other!
